VIDA: Design

This character is based off of my mother.

The conceptual art for her eyebrows and costume are based off of depictions of Mayan God Quetzalcoatl.

Her overall design would have a hair print of her own design, her costume has small mood stones that she has placed on herself.

Whenever her mood shifts the tone of her costume changes as well.

She was a previous performer so her costume reflects a bit of that flair.

Overall her costume is suppose to also reflect her personality.

If you have ever seen alebrijes from Mexico then you can understand where the design is headed.

This is a very special character to the story, she invokes the heart of the narrative as a whole.

Vida's abilities:

She is the guardian of her war torn village.

She has the ability to pass her body through soft surfacees such as water and mirrors.

She can also reflect her emotions, dreams and thoughts onto them so they can be viewed.

She often tries to view the past and alter it as well, her long lasting dream is to change the past.
